Facilitated art psychotherapy sessions at a trauma-informed residential treatment center for adolescent teen mothers and adult mothers challenged with co-occurring disorders, psychiatric- disorders, abuse, neglect, and homelessness. Assisted to develop clinical treatment plans based on patient needs as part of a member of the treatment teams. Encouraged clients to express -
themselves non-verbally with the utilization of various art materials and exploration of creative processes. Temporary/Part-time facilitation for an "Art as Relaxation" program specialized for at-risk adolescent populations in Allentown and Easton, Pennsylvania. GUEST SPEAKER:
April 2021- Invited Guest Speaker, The Impact Project “A Creative Experiential for Foster Parents”~ provided a 2 hour trauma-informed lecture to educate Foster caregivers and offered a psychotherapeutic art experiential for further comprehension and support.
May 2017- Workshop Presenter, Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites “Making an Earth Mandala”~ facilitated a Mandala Workshop with an emphasis on Earth Mandalas as a means to connect with nature, self and others. Guided participants on a nature walk to the historical Miller Garden to pick up natural materials then we walked back to the Single Sister's House to assemble a group mandala in the center courtyard and educating about art making being a form of self-care.
July 2016- Workshop Presenter, Communities in Schools Pennsylvania “Self-Care through Art Making”~ invited to volunteer for Communities In Schools (non-profit organization) to create a four week art therapy program workshop for teachers and staff that provides self-care techniques, reduces the feelings of stress and harnesses spirituality through the engagement of various art materials, creative processes with the guidance.
