Moriah is a New Jersey Visual Artist, Expressionist Painter, Mystical Poet and Art Psychotherapist serving the community providing art therapy as well as working independently in her studio and the great outdoors. The last several years Moriah has been exploring the innate healing properties of ephemeral arts and offering mandala workshops/sessions to various populations and communities primarily in New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania. The Intention of this workshop is to liberate individuals to step into their innate Creator capacities & to connect to Nature with mindful presence.
Moriah is offering a 1-2 hour earth mandala workshop guiding groups and individuals in the ancient art-making of mandalas utilizing naturally sourced contents from nearby environments. Mandalas means 'circle' in Sanskrit & is an art practice that can be seen all over the world in different mediums and cultures as a form of prayer, an aide to meditation, human expression and for healing connection to nature/ourselves. Mandala is an art form that is known in art & psychology to reduce stress-levels, create grounding and engage our senses in a conscious way of being.
