Beneath The Pinion

6/26/2016

The past few days has had me thinking of the people behind this painting....I made a couple summers ago while working with the folks and families on the Oncology Unit at Easton Hospital....Everyday after internship, I would go home and work on this painting....I gifted it to the unit before I left....I still wonder how my patients are doing, if the same staff are all still there and who looks upon my painting in the hallway. Maybe I'll never know, all I have now are memories, stories, and art- that I will forever cherish and carry with me as I continue on this path. I wanted to share this with you and I hope you enjoy this photographed image of the painting or if you are around Easton area, maybe we can go visit it. Each color, shape, line and stroke represents a culmination of my overall experience on the unit that summer-- that was innately a spiritual experience for me. ::
