COLLAGE

Reproduced black and white art’s printed images from the 15th century Flemish Painting Index. The collection gave me an opportunity to deconstruct/reconstruct/explore the meager quality of these pasted on images. By applying further damage such as spraying water or paint, pouring coffee and wine, scratching away at the surface ect… I allowed both the application of mediums and material partial precision to allow the mediums to change the surface as they will.
