The Earth Mandala Workshop: Harvested Nature Art Open booking 2021 Calendar Year Moriah is a New Jersey Visual Artist, Professor and Art Psychotherapist serving the community providing art therapy as well as working independently in her studio and the great outdoors. The last several years Moriah has been exploring the innate healing properties of ephemeral arts and offering Earth Art workshops/sessions to various populations and communities primarily in New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania. The Intention of this workshop is to liberate individuals to step into their innate creator capacities & to connect to nature with thoughtful presence. Moriah is offering a 1-2 hour earth art workshop guiding groups and individuals in the ancient art-making of earth art utilizing naturally sourced contents from nearby environments. Working in circles is an art practice that can be seen all over the world in different mediums and cultures as a form of prayer, an aide to meditation, human expression, a connection to nature, Creator and ourselves. Concentric forms are known in art & psychology to reduce stress-levels, create grounding and engage our senses. |
