This expressive big cat made an appearance with some leftover paint with having much ‘to say’ as these paintings usually do. Sometimes I will pour extra paint on canvas or paper to see what emerges, often times they are nothing + at times I may see shapes of animals or imagined figures that want ‘to be known’- as in parts of ourselves waiting to be discovered. This process is playful and fun which allows room for loose + intuitive strokes of paint to shine through. I recommend you try it next time with any paint you may have left over from your palette!
