Driven by a fascination with avian diversity and symbolism, I've created each painting to embody the timeless allure of birds as messengers. From ancient myths to modern-day culture, these creatures hold a profound significance as symbols of communication and connection.
This Mitchel’s cockatoo is a wild card! Mitchel’s Cockatoos are originally from Australia and have a large wingspan to fly free from the novelty of being made into a pet. These birds have salmon and pink plumage, and they are naturally showy. These flamboyant birds' dance-like movement exposes the deep reds and bright whites in their inner wings. They love to fly in smaller flocks. These birds serve as a reminder of the importance of keeping a sense of humor and shaking off things that do not serve well for our purpose.
