HANDCRAFTED WINDCHIMES

ABOUT ORDERING CHIMES
  • Hand-crafted. Approx. 18 inches width by 32 inches long (varying sizes depending on seasonal materials)
  • As seen in photo, each chime is handcrafted therefore the elements/materials will be different~ each one are truly their own.
  • Your choice of beige grout or black grout

PHOENIX CHIMES are originally designed and handcrafted by Moriah via Mosaic Work *tiles & grout* and beautiful Bead Work *the hanging beads that provided the quality of sound*-- each season the materials vary such as the color of grout, glass gems, platform shape or size, cut glass pieces, chains, brass chimes, shells, bells and crystals. Each PHOENIX CHIMES vary depending on materials supply of the season.

These specialty windchimes are inspired by the essence of Mexican Folk Art that Moriah experienced during her many years living in Arizona hence the name Phoenix Chimes of the insignia of the mythical creature the Phoenix elevating from the brimstone and ashes. 'The bright bold colors and pieced together arrangements that you may think don't go together, but somehow fit to create a fun juxtaposition of colors, shapes and charms have that tactile and crafty-folk feel'

Moriah enhances the dimensions in her own artistic freedom by utilizing materials that provide reflective qualities and are sustainable in the nature weather changes. For example, you will see through the assemblage of repurposed broken mirror pieces that project light from the sun out into the space they are in. Moriah utilizes hand glazed artisan Mexican tiles that shimmer and shine outside in the natural elements intact, sturdy and steady sustaining rain, snow, cold, heat and sun.
